Aramco Initial Public Offering (IPO)

  • Prepared 22 gas simulation models (NAG) for external valuation.
  • Prepared reports, simulation models, supporting documentation and data for external valuation.

Responsible for all gas reservoir simulation activities in the Carboniferous and Permian formations

  • Managed 22 non-associated gas fields (Devonian, Carboniferous and Permian formations).
  • Led interdisciplinary teams of 20 professionals. Performing fast peaced reservoir simulation studies. Led project initiation, planning, execution and closure, presentations to stakeholders, proponent and managers.

July 2014 - July 2017: Simulation Engineer - Gas

Responsible for all gas reservoir simulation activities in the Permian

  • Responsible to manage all reservoir simulation studies in the Permian formation (8 fields).
  • Led project documentation, presentations to managers and peer reviews.

Project champion of internal software development at Aramco

  • Responsible for testing, training and deploying new reservoir simulation applications.
  • Wrote over 10 thousand lines of code to automate PVT and SCAL table construction, data conversion, data retrieval and well planning.
  • Project liaison of a Joint Industry Program. Introduced an advanced history matching technique into Aramco.
  • Designed scripts to speed up data processing and reservoir simulation activities.

Performed special simulation studies and optimization

  • Optimized the simulation run time of complex near critical fluid models by 80%.
  • Conducted CO2, N2 and gas cycling studies.

In charge of all Satellite Gas Fields - early Permian Formation

  • Responsible to manage all reservoir simulation studies in the early Permian formation (10 fields).
  • Optimized the required number of wells to efficiently produce the assets.
  • Increased NPV of the assets.

Participated as core team member in 3 major gas simulation projects
